Larry Hill, Sr. is a 1st degree black belt and assistant instructor at the Vacaville Wado Ki Kai school. Larry's martial art journey started in 1971 while in the Air Force. He received his black belt Shodan in Chito-Ryu in 1974 under Jen Gross (at Travis Air Force). Studied Goju-Ryu in the Philippines from 1974 to 1975, Shotokan karate in Japan under different instructors from 1975 to 1980, Shito-Ryu in Japan from 1982 to 1983, Tae Kwon Do in 1998. Larry continued his karate training in 1998, studying Wado Ki Kai with Sensei Martinez at the 24 Hour Fitness Center in Fairfield moving with Sensei Martinez to his dojo in Vacaville at the Golds Gym Family Center. Larry earned his Black Belt Shodan in 2004 under Sensei Martinez. Larry has been teaching the Kids Karate program at the Golds Gym Family Center and has been assisting with the adults classes.
